Journey into The Crazy World is a minecraft mod that added a lot of thing like custom dimension, custom mobs, custom blocks, custom items, custom enchantments, custom advancements, custom world preset,.. for player, the goal of this mod is to give the player the most unique experience in their non vanilla minecraft experience.

Journey into The Crazy World is a project I started with my friend back in mid 2023 for fun. At first, it's supposed to be a private mod we made to play together, so I don't really care about how each features work together and instead only focusing on adding what me and my friend wanted to.
I am the only programmer of this mod as my friend don't know how to code, instead he do some drawing and build some structure. I don't really thinking much when writing new feature as I thought this mod will be abandoned by me after a few day (little did I know this was a fatal mistake I made).
However, few months into the progress, we actually ended up making a decent progress, custom dimension, custom armor, custom totems, custom ore, custom tools,... That is when we thought of publishing our mod. Well, we all were excited to do it. But, however, thing didn't go as planned, eventually, the friend got busy, bored and slowly stopped drawing or building structures, until early 2024, I became the only active developer of the mod who program, design texture, deciding which content should I add, which needs balance, how should it the new features interact with existing one,...
Of course, combined with real life work and the fact that I also have other project to do, I eventually do not have much time to pour into this quite-demanding project, what I thought of a simple mod, slowly turn into a big, complex mod with a lot of feature connected together, this makes my early choice of not writing clean code for the early part of the mod a big mistake as the legacy part of this mod were one of the most impactful feature that will ease the player with the difficulties of this mod, but of course, good thing is I do apply separating codes into a lot of smaller file, so it actually quite an easy task to rewrite those unreadable and buggy legacy code.
At first, I decided to add 'enough feature' and release the first version first before taking a break. However, I can't seem to decide when is 'adding enough feature' is really enough to me, when I added new thing, my mind keep wanting more and more to be added after those feature, more and more, and after a long time, this mod turned into a complex mod with thousand of files I need to manage and update if I decided to update to a newer version of minecraft. I really do wanted to update to the newest minecraft version as soon as it become available, however, due to the complexity of this mod and countless error and bug that will happened when I decided to, I can only stayed at a specific version and maybe only updates when a big major version (like 1.22, 1.23,..) got released instead.
Until this day, this mod has a lot of feature and challenge for player, whatever they are skilled or not: My biggest pride in this project is the custom dimension called Crazy World, this dimension was meant to be a silly dimension with a lot of cursed creature spawn upon it, a harsh and unpredictable terrain that makes using an elyta with low render distance a risky choice due to how tall and floatly the terrain can get. This dimension have a bug I didn't use to intend, but eventually becomes a feature: that is custom mobs spawn from the sky and drop down the ground, at first, it is meant to be a bug, however, after a lot of thought, I have decided to keep it for the unique feeling of this dimension.
Beside this hard dimension, there are also other thing too, like the injury system that makes the player unable to heal past a fixed amount of heal until they cure it with a rare item, not even dying will reset it. Damage resistance bypass that makes even Resistance 255 struggle to protect against. There are also a lot of new feature too like the 5x5 crafting table, which is used to craft most of my mod's special item, the custom totem that have special buff but a long cooldown, the custom armor that gives a big buff.. but also a big curse. The custom world preset that makes overworld, nether and the end feels a lot closer to Crazy World in term of terrain generation (And also reduced healing on those preset too after a few day of playing)..
Of course, this mod also added a lot of advancement, those advancement are used to give you a predictable goal of this mod, I have added quite a handful of them for you to do it, which will takes quite a long time for you to finish it, not to mention there are some hidden advancements as well.
I do plan to add other languages to this mod, but however, after a lot of time being poured to it, I have come to a conclusion that I will stick with English instead of translating to another language, sorry!
This mod do not have a fixed roadmap and a fixed plan on when will be its final version, instead, I will just keep working, adding new feature to it whenever I have the time and feel like it.
As for my friend, well, he has gotten too busy with his work that his contribute to the mod is now a fraction compared to the scale of this mod, well, he wanted me to earse his name from the mod's credit so I do not keep his name on it, however, the structure he built will be there, most of his drawing, however, I will redraw it with larger and clearer style, maybe new style too (since some of it may contains part that can be copyrighted).
